Today on the podcast we go on a personal journey, the story of what took me to Ischia recently and what exactly I discovered there.
From the Gulf of Naples we ferried over to the green island of Ischia to discover the volcanic and mineral rich thermal spas, the natural beauty of Negombo, a visit to Saint Angelo, the magic of the Castello Aragonese, a journey to nearby Procida and the picturesque island life that is Ischia. There were beautiful days traveling and exploring and wandering the streets of the island Ischia in Campania, Southern Italy.

The natural setting was a lovely change after a few busy days in Rome and traveling to the southern city of Naples!
The island of Ischia sits in the Tyrrhenian Sea at the northern end of the Gulf of Naples - it is the largest of the Volcanic Phlegrean islands in the Gulf, the Phlegrean fields relates to the volcanic activity (Campanian Volcanic Arc) including Mount Vesuvius that lie under the Gulf of Naples in Campania, Italy.
