Visit the architectural beauty of the Quartiere Coppede and the Piazza Mincio on the northern side of Rome, not far from Termini station….You can catch a bus there too!
Michelle Ciani and I in the Quartiere Coppede
Many people wander to the Piazza Mincio to visit the beautiful fountain of the frogs - Fontana della Rane and to wander through the Coppede Archway, one has to admire that fabulous black candelabra - I personally was thrilled. I was so into the film locations of the Gucci film that it seemed inevitable that I would land there at some stage while in Rome - there are so many architectural marvels, the likes of art nouveau, neo gothic, baroque and modernism - designed by Gino Coppede and built between 1917-1925
The beautiful colours of Rome, something I love to see!!
The final Roman Lunch in Monti!
Where I stopped on the long walk up to Via Nazionale for a final spritz and an impromptu podcast recording, it worked out quite well, there were tears and jubilation at the thought of a beautiful few weeks wandering around Italia and Paris....
